The Avila Institute of Gerontology hosts a multitude of webinars to offer a convenient way for long-term care professionals to stay current in their field. Most webinars also include the opportunity for Nursing Home Administrators, Nurses, Social Workers, Dietitians, Catholic Chaplains and Recreation Therapists to earn continuing education. Check the “Continuing Education” tab to see if credit hours are available for your discipline. The Avila Institute also cosponsors four webinars a year with the National Religious Retirement Office (NRRO). These quarterly webinars focus on long-term care issues experienced by religious communities, congregations and their community members. The co-hosted webinars do not offer continuing education credit.
