Governmental Programs for Healthcare and Related Benefits

This webinar will discuss governmental (federal and state) benefits that may be available to members of religious institutes.  While most of the presentation will be applicable to members age 65 and older, consideration will be given to those which may be available to members under the age of 65.  The presentation will address how choices made by the institute and its operating policies may impact the availability of these benefits.  There will be limited information on the availability of benefits for members who are not US citizens.

Geraldine M. Hoyler, CSC is a member of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, Notre Dame, Indiana.  She currently provides consulting services to religious institutes through Christian Brothers Services, Romeoville, IL.  She received her BSBA and  MSBA degrees  from the University of Denver; she is a CPA (inactive, Indiana).  Her primary ministry has been healthcare finance as the CFO of catholic health systems.  She served as general councilor/general treasurer of her congregation from 2004 to 2014.
